What you can do
Inquiries drift when attention drifts. The most useful thing the public can do is stay specific: know the deadlines, ask about them, and support the people this actually happened to.
Write to your MP
MPs respond to constituents. Ask yours what they are doing to see the inquiry's milestones met, and whether they will sign Early Day Motion 380 (Independent Rape Gang Inquiry Report, tabled 16 June 2026), which calls for action on inquiry recommendations.
Follow the statutory inquiry
The inquiry publishes its terms of reference, local investigation programme and news directly. Survivors and witnesses can contact it through its website.

If you have information about closed cases
Operation Beaconport is reviewing group-based child sexual abuse cases closed with no further action between January 2010 and March 2025. Victims, survivors and witnesses can come forward via the NCA.
